A question for anyone who ever watched "The Days Of Wine & Roses" what is your answer to this?

I think it's an awesome film but I also find it very depressing. It's one of those movies that is a great film (IMHO) however it is also very cringe-inducing and very unpleasant to watch...I wanted to take a shower when I was done with it. What are the opinions of the Yahoo Answers critics?
