If You Found A Rat Head in Your Bowl of Soup at a Restaurant, Would You Be Resp. for the Rest of the Bill?

I was eating at an Indian Restaurant in Toronto last week and found a rat head in my bowl of curry soup. At this point we had eaten appetizers and sucked down half a bottle of wine. After seeing the rat head, I told my wife to get up and just leave. The owner followed me outside demanding that I pay for the rest of the meal eventhough he knew about the rat head. We almost got into a fight over this. Needless to say I did not pay. My question...should I have paid for the other components of the dinner (Wine, Appetizer)? IMHO, I say no. Thoughts???
